Part 3 Your Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven

And the LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; on your belly shall you go, and dust shall you eat all the days of your life; and I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel.” (Genesis 3:14-15).

The second coming of Jesus is the concluding battle between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. Eternity hangs in the balance as to which side you choose and who wins this great battle.

The serpent actually thinks He is going to win this battle. The Lord declares there is only one victor and He is the seed of the woman. The prize is the souls of mankind.

.

The first coming of Jesus the serpent bruised the heel of the seed of the woman. This coming Jesus shall bruise the head of the serpent. Enmity is between the woman and the serpent, between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. This is the cosmic battle. This battle has been fought between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness.

God has laid out His plan in His divine Word. He declares, “I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things which have not been done…Truly I have spoken truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it” (Isaiah 46:9-11).

.

The kingdom that rules in heaven is coming to earth and will rule on the earth. The Bible has more to say about this period of time that we are entering than any other in the history of mankind. If this is true then maybe God wants us to know what is ahead, that we might be prepared for His coming.

The Lord knows the end and the beginning, He declares it, and He brings it to pass. This is the time to turn to God as the Kingdom of Heaven is near. God’s will is always done in heaven and His followers and believers have been praying for 2,000 years, “Thy Kingdom come [and] Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
